4wd- ball joint press is the only specialty tool needed abduction that's only for the lower ball joints other than that just ratchets and wrenches, air tools make things easier.

2wd everything i listed above plus a spring compressor.

The spring compressor and ball joint press can be rented at autozone.

A press fit tool is a big part and the rest is rachets

I'm going to be replacing upper and lower control arms over the next month or so using Moog Problem Solvers.

I am also going to have to buy a ball joint press. I have already replaced tie rods, front shocks, stabilizer bar and bushings, and idler arm.

You can do it without a press. You can borrow one from auto store free too.
