So red wire on the light to a black/light blue wire under the passenger side kick panel and black from the light to ground?

Don't quote me on that #7 pin. That was years ago. Easier to pull out your test light or multimeter and check both of the black/blue tracer wires by opening and closing the door to see which one lights.

The dome light wire comes down into the passenger kick panel to a junction box (idk the proper name it's a plug of like 15wires) the dome light wire is a black with light blue stripe. Should be located in either the 4th or 6th hole. I can get some pics tomorrow if ya want.

There's a screw with +12V up there under the plastic cover. Can't remember for sure, but it seems it was the closest to the windshield. There are 3 screws.... one is ground, one is constant 12V, and the other is switched with the doors and dome light switch.

What I finally did was to tap into the dome light wires by fishing wires above the headliner and down the post on the drivers side. I added under carriage leds at each door to come on when the doors are opened along with the under the dash leds. Going through the headliner and wiring to the dome light was easy. No guessing about which wires were which.
