Default tyre pressure

Could someone with P265/70R17 tyres fitted tell me the best pressure for them?

Unfortunately when I was having some work done on the truck before getting it registered here in the UK, the rear passenger door was worked on and the build info label was removed when it was painted...

Typically, I forgot to take a photo of it before the shop did the work

I've searched on here but under just the tyre size it came up with hundreds of pages or if I added the word pressure it came up with almost nothing

Currently have BFG Rugged Terrain T/A fitted if it matters

Cheers

Adrian.

in the USA tires have the max inflation pressure on the sidewall of the tire, you can adjust from there to suit your needs. max for towing, less for comfortable ride. stay within reason or you'll get funny wear
the pressures on the door sticker are for the tires that came on the truck or pretty close replacements.
if you have tires of different specs such as LT tires instead of P tires, the door sticker pressure isn't going to work anyway.

I always had my tires at 35 PSI in the front and 40 in the rear. As said, look at the side wall of the tire and see what the max tire pressure is. If you go to this number with the truck empty you'll wear out the centers faster, but you'll get better fuel economy. I personally wouldn't run less than 30 PSI (unless snow is on the ground / you need traction). I'd try to keep it around 35 PSI, but my tires were LT tires.

Cheers but I looked at the one I had in the glovebox before posting and it doesn't list tyre pressures...
