Are Tuners illegal in massachusetts? I have a diablo sport. I took the tune off then drove it for 200 miles. went for an inspection and it got flagged by the Environmental police when they scanned the vin. It has to go and get checked over b4 i can get a sticker. When i reflashed it with the oem software can it still show i had a tuner? I dont get what the problem is...

 

What do you mrs. when they scan the vin? Only way to notice the tuner is to plug into obd port. I wouldn't think that would flag anything unless they were reading the emissions

 

I haven't had a problem with my edge... I don't even take the tune off for a sticker

 

Why exactly did it fail?? Was it a P100 (?) tattletale code from when you reset it. Or was it something to do with the modified exhaust?
200 miles should be enough to clear any tattletale code.

 

No they aren't illegal. Did they plug into the OBII system to pull any codes on your truck? They prob pulled a code...

 

When ya get a sticker do you just unplug the edge and they plug in?

Got the sticker ... But now since he tested my e brake it's now stuck... Where would be the most common place where it would be stuck?
