Default Tune Up question.

Ok, the weather is warming up a tiny bit for the moment and I want to do some fluid and filter changes. So far I am going to replace the air filter, transmission filter, oil and oil filter, fuel filter, pcv valve, egr valve, u joints... yeah yeah a lot of fun hehe. What I am curious of is does my truck have a cabin filter? It is a 98 F150 Lariat 4x4 5.4L V8. I know the pcv vale and egr valve are not really maintenance but they need replaced on my truck so... Also what would it take to replace my injectors? Should I run some injector cleaner first or just jump in and change them? Is there anything else I am missing? The plugs and such are in good condition (hope that didnt jinx it)

how many miles are on your truck? at 120K miles the pcv valve should be replaced, you might just wanna wait till then

get some lucus injector cleaner and run it in the gas for a while if your having injector trouble, that would be a lot cheaper

i guess you have a cabin air filter, my maintenance book has it listed

Go to the dealer and buy a motorcraft pcv valve. By far the best and the same price. With your transmission I would take it to a transmission shop and have a fluid and filter change. With that many miles they will do a inspection to make sure everything is ok.
