Will an Add a leaf kit work on my truck? I have an 97 f150 2wd. I currently have a 3.5 spindle and just want a little more hight. I want to put an add a leaf lift kit on there with a 2 inch leveling kit. Will it work or fit though?

 

An add a leaf will probably get you 1.5-2". It will also make it ride stiffer, the more lift from the leaf=stiffer spring.
A block will get you the lift, and still keep the factory ride. Probably the same price for each.

 

Hm, yah I guess I could just buy a 3inch block. I have 2 inch blocks on there already. I was just thinking add a leaf and leave the block.

 

I'd just do a block swap, but that's because I'm lazy and don't like taking leaf packs apart when I can just slap a new block in place

 

Haha yah, im with you there. I started thinking that might would be some trouble.

 

an add-a-leaf will DEFINITELY make it stiffer, blocks is the way to go, I've been thinking about taking mine off because of how stiff it is
