Unhappy truck wont start

i own a 2k f150 truck with 5.4 engine, it has 146,000 miles on it, it just quit on me it wont start at all the day before i cleaned the battery post because they had some corssion buildup on the post everthing was fine until then. i went to start the truck and nothing is happenning, the indicator is showing that the battery is charged, everthing is working electrical wise, any info as to what coul be causing it not to start, the battery is two years old. it wont crank or click at all.

If It Will Not Turn Over And Does Nothing I Would Start With The Starter.

nm didnt see that it does nothing, sounds definately something electrical...check the other side of the ground cable as well. tap the starter with a rubber hammer and have someone try turning it over as ur tapping it. it might start up, maybe the starter is stuck.

I have a 97 F-150 4.6 when it had about 120,000 on it, it wouldn't start in my drive way. Turned out the wire terminal from the battery rotted right off of it at the starter terminal, didn't notice it at first. You cleaning the terminals might have caused movement that would cause the wire terminal to break off. I would look down there . I was told it is quite a common problem on older Fords.

Son's truck did the exact same thing on Sunday. Removed the battery cables to replace the blower motor cleaned posts and cables hooked back up would not start. Turns out battery was bad. Guess it was just its time. What did you find?
