Treadwright Anyone???

Make sure they are at proper tire pressure, don't get too hot (no burnouts), don't run under load for extended amount of time (causes them to get hot). If you keep an eye on them and treat them right you should be alright but id still be cautious. Like stated previously, save a little more money and pay the extra 50 or so a tire for new ones. They will have a warranty as well and it will probably be for more miles.

Everything I've been reading is glorious about these. Some people are ignorant and refuse to believe that retreads are OK on a half ton pickup.
That's okay, I'll save the money and get a great tire

Recaps they glue on a new tread, treadwright retreads they mold new rubber onto a prepped casing
Some 4x4 magazine did a review on the backbone 1's. Said they where good stuff no complaints. As for the howlers the only thing ive heard is they are really loud...
