That, unfortunately, doesn't mean a lot if you got it on Ebay. Lots of sellers clean them, flick the valves, and call it rebuilt.

Who did you buy it from?

I've ordered several from Central Valve Bodies. Best place, and great prices. They perform any updates needed as well.

Their website kinda sucks, but if you call them, they'll hook you up.

BTW, if you want to sell your original, or the Ebay unit, let me know. I've had it on my list to go pull one at a wrecking yard for my 97 and go through it.

I rebuild them too, but Central is who I go through a lot of times when I need one quick. Also, not all valve body's are repairable. So it's nice to have them bench tested, etc. to know it's good.

I have a couple of 4R70 valve body's, but they are the newer style.

You bet.

The Ford 5R55's all have trashed valve body's when you pull them. Those guys make them run smooth as butter.

So you have 1st and 2nd, but no 3rd and 4th? Is that correct?
