Default Transmission help plz

I just change a transmission in a 1999 Ford F-150 4 by 4 5.4 and now have a loud scraping noise as soon as I start it any help would be great I am lost at what it could be ... but as soon as I started it start scraping real bad so I turn it off I don't know if the fluid needs to work around in a torque converter if that might be the problem I'm not sure what to do from here

Scraping could mean a couple things. First, is your check plate making contact with the flywheel? If your starter fully disengaging?

Depends how and where. Best way to look is pull it, then shine a flashlight up there. Look for rub marks. I've even seen the TC bolts rub on the plate before.

First you need to identify the problem though.

Is it fully disengaging? No, there should be no spacer/indexing required on these trucks.

Whitey....could the converter be out a click, causing the flex plate to bulge in or crack.break?

Yes, but I would also think it would be leaking ATF. Of course, maybe he's lucky. Are you sure the converter is seated all the way? USUALLY they leak if they aren't.
