Transmission

Does anyone know were the switch is that confirms the transmition is in park.have to keep playing with colum change to get truck to start,only an intremitent prob but getting worse.truck is a 2000 5.4 4x4

sounds like a bad wire, could take the plastic off and find it? I'll check alldata a bit later and see if I can tell you which wire to go after.
