My transfer case motor on my truck engages to 4x4 and then about 5 seconds later it goes back to 2 wheel drive. I crawled under there today and was going to change out my transfer case motor but there is a wire that goes to above the rear drive shaft that is attached to the old transfer case motor plug. Is that some kind of sensor? How do I attach it to the new plug for the new motor since it has no connectors?
