Default Trans cooler?

I just wanted to know if this was a trans cooler and if I can upgrade it with one from a f250. If possible, what year f250 will fit? Thanks.

That's your power steering fluid cooler. The auxillary trans cooler (if you have one), will be on the passenger side in approximately the same location. In the picture below you can see the original cooler below, and the F250 cooler I replaced it with above-center. (The PS cooler is on the driver's side.)

If you don't already have an aux trans cooler, one can be installed pretty easily.

EDIT: See THIS THREAD for info on F250 cooler differences. Note that any or all may require some modifications to fit our trucks.

You're welcome. You have a "cooler" built into the radiator, but it's really effective only for everyday driving. If you're planning on towing most anything, do add the aux cooler (aftermarket or otherwise).
