i recently picked up my 97 f150 4x4 it has the 4.6 and auto trans. i havent had time yet to do a tune up but it needs one and i gotta replace a cv axle just side info heres the issues i need help with. its shifts fine in all the gears but kinda slips into od it will rev about 500 rpms and shift hard into od. it sounds like the motor is pulling real hard from take of til about third gear but not putting down power. its very hard on gas maybe 220-240 per tank and also if i lift out of the gas at what ever speed i been riding and go to get back into the throttle it doesnt make a change it doesnt accelarate start pulling change rpms or anything i have to get in the gas let out again and throttle again to make it accel normal any suggests would be greatly apreciated .. im planning on changing the fuel filter plugs wires and oil as soon as i get a weekend off i havent had the truck but 2 weeks or it would already be done. again thanks
