First world problems. I dont know what to do next. I am stingy like an old man so as hot as I am to do all this at once I kinda want to spread it out.
I have three options:
1. Just do 3" body and 33s.
2. 35s and 4.56, maybe spread out a couple months. Plasti dip stock rims. Lift next spring or try and do it myself.
3. There are some mamba m3s on craigslist with almost bald 35 grapplers on them. I could get those and then do the regear. Then come this winter get new 35s. $450 for the set. Lift next spring or try and do it myself.
I dont want to do a regear first of course. Third option would cost the most but spread the money out the most as well. #1 is like the whatever this is cheap, do it this weekend option.

Thanks. Only problem with that is running around on little skateboard wheels until I get the new tires on. My tires already look tiny on the truck and they are grandpa looking.
But whats another $300 if youre already spending 2500. Right?
I got quoted $1300 for the regear with parts both axles. Its a lot but I trust the guy. Hes one of those with a big garage out in the woods types. Anything I can have him do I take to him.
I wouldnt care so much for the regear but im 3.55. Why they even bothered with 3.55 on an extended cab 4x4 5.4 xlt is beyond me. Im probably just jealous

This is what mine used to look like. 3 inch body lift with 265 70 17. It was fine. It doesnt look terrible its only a 3 inch lift, not very many people could tell it was lifted. I drove with those for 6 months, bought my 315 70 17 duratracs (awesome tires btw) and sold my old ones for 250. Now im in the process of saving up to regear. I really like how mines turning out and a regear is a MUST unless you like driving really slow all the time. I hope this helps!

That doesnt look as bad as I imagined. Your tires look a lot better though
Yeah 3" body isnt a huge difference, but ill do whatever until I need a ladder to get in!
BTW how long have you been driving without regear? If I could space it out a couple months I wouldnt be so iffy about it. I just assumed it was terrible for the tranny. I dont care to drive slow I dont drive highway ever.

Don't be Jealous it took five yrs for me to get my truck to where it is now but with the 355 you can run 35s for as long as you need to that's what did till I regeared but all the work on my truck was done by me except the paint

Oh damn four years. Thats a big relief. I might do the tires next week then and then do the regear in the next month or so. I wish I was still a carefree kid I would do it all tomorrow.
I would do it all myself as well if I had the tools. I might be able to do the rear end differential but definitely not the front end.

Yeah ive just had my truck for over a year now but didnt start modding it until like 3 months after I got it. I can not wait till I regear. With gears and my programmer my truck will feel like a racecar compared to 355s and 35s.
