So I'm currently stuck in a feild, my truck won't go into reverse and my fluid is really black... Any chance changing the fluid with get it back or should I start lookin for a new one

 

So reverse came back already, trans is slipping a bit, I'm hoping new fluid fixes it

 

Try the Lucas oil transmission slip fix. My tranny went another 20,000 miles with it

 

New fluid and filter is a good starting point.

 

Well this is what came outa my trans, so went and picked up another one. Any one have a link on tyranny removals in our trucks?

Wow u blew her up good! I can't mine out I got all the bellhousing bolts n tork converter bolts out and it can't get the trans to drop. Any suggestions!?

 

Yeah, last time I go to save someone who is stuck... I ended up stuck, then my buddy with a dodge w/ 10" lift got stuck, then a Yukon on 33s was stuck.... Then we decided to call someone with a winch. Got my truck out at 4:30am, couldn't winch it out so had to jack it up and put pallets under the wheels.... Got my new trans with transfer case and a brand new torque converter for 400$ with 150000KM.. Anyone know what a TC is worth?
