Default train horn hook up

I recently purchased a small train horn (doesn't require an air tank) ( //www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00W81EAE6/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?qid=1453070064&sr=8-2&pi=SX200_QL40&keywords=truck+horn&dpPl=1&dpID=41 V6KKA2xtL&ref=plSrch )
My question is, why cant I just strip the wires, run the wires the conpressor, then hook up the new horns like regular?
Can't I by pass the relay and an extra switch?
Thanks!

You might be able to do that. The one time I tried running aftermarket horns on the original wiring, the current draw was too much and voltage fell off resulting in poor horn operation.

I have train horns.... 2 compressors and a 5 gal tank with a 4 horn setup. Sounds just like a train coming ha. But I'm not sure what you mean... Does your horns have the electric are valve or does the compressor just kick on when the horn blows?

It's probably like the ones I got from auto zone. They are just two small horns and a small compressor pump that only runs when you run the horn. Mine are loud (and clown car sounding) and I run mine directly off of the original horn. Works fine.

You're right. Two small horns and a small compressor that clicks on whenever I blow the horn..
I want it hooked up to my original horn, meaning when I press down on the middle of the steering wheel, it'll blow.
Thanks for y'alls input. I got tired of people texting and driving.

My original horn crapped out. So, because I thought it would be funny/cool, I replaced it with the air horn. It always makes me smile when I hear it, and it's LOUD
