Hi, I want to take off my Stock Trailer hitch from my 01 F150. I don't have access to large sockets so I need to go out and buy one. Can anyone tell me what the size is so I can pick up the right one the first time? I also want to remove the tow strap anchors from the front of the truck and paint them up nice. Is this the same size socket?

Just go take a crescent wrench, tighten it up on the bolt as if you were to undo them. Remove the wrench and measure the distance. You have your exact size.

 

Metric or US?

 

The tape measure usually reads in US does it not? Lol
