Towing/hauling question
1999 XLT Scab with a 4.6, automatic, standard bed (80 inches) and 10 plies.
I have a 7 ft 4 inch 850 lb. camper and an 18 foot Walleye boat that has a hull weight about 950 lbs and the 90 hp outboard engine should come in at about 350 lbs. The boat trailer (single axle) is probably 400 lbs or so.
I travel pretty light so I'll probably have no more than 150 lbs of stuff. My plan is to drive this combo from Mesa Az to the Oregon coast for some well deserved bass fishing next August.
My numbers should be pretty close so I'm thinking I'm under all the capacities for the truck even with a full tank but I just wanted your opinion on everything.

Pulling isn't a problem. You'll have to watch your hitch weight since the hull of that boat weighs so much. At least throw your gear over trailer axle. Why is the hull so damn heavy, is that thing an ice breaker?

It's actually a very light boat for an 18ft bass boat. Boat, motor and trailer weigh less than a ton. The tongue weight is not more than 125 lbs.
Perhaps you read that incorrectly......

No I read it correctly, I was just thinking the hull weight was the front of the boat at the time lol.
Why not just resort to you owners manual. Spells it out for you. I can pull 7700 lbs with my 150, you can't that much further behind with that little 4six.

Of course nothings better than hitting one of the many scale houses around you. They are plentiful.
