electric fans, cold air intake, scan gauge 2 modifyed driving habits, dual exhaust, good gas and i removed the cover that goes over the top of the radiator so cool air doesnt have to go through the radiator to get to the motor... if you need proof i have it.

That stuff will help but a gas still won't get the best mpgs towing

agreed. it didnt really change my towing mpg at all.. just open high way is where the $1000 worth of goodies shines.

I dont see the whole 4.6 holding a 5.4 off the line tho. Thats an over statemement. I would never own the 4.6, I would rather get worse gas mileage. I've only heard of problems coming from that engine.

I will be towing a 66 bronco on a car hauler with OD off, now what would be the best modifications to do to give me the best mpgs possible while not sacrificing towing power?

electric fans were the biggest one for me and not using your ac helps out alot too make sure your tires are good and aired up

I run 40psi in my bfg all terrains. I'll look into electric fans too. What about a programmer?
