Tow mirrors

Why doesn't the regular cab tow mirrors work on a 2002 supercrew. Or do they with modification. Any suggestions on what to do for tow mirrors. Thanks

The doors on a supercrew are from the Expedition.
There are tow mirrors out there, just hard to find.
