Default torsion keys

what are the pros and cons to new torsion keys? will it wear out my front end parts abnormally faster? and when they advertise 2.5 inches of lift is that with them cranked all the way?

i got 3" out of mine, and the bolts pretty tight i doubt you could get much more. and everyone complains about the front end wearing so fast and the ride being rough, but really my front end parts are all holding up fine, and really the ride quality isnt that much different. if i bought new shocks i probably couldnt even tell a difference. and i have my front end 2" higher than my rear right now, so if youre just looking to level it i doubt youd see much of a difference as far as ride quality and parts wearing at all, if any difference.

with any lift u run the risk of wearing ball joints faster but upgrading them should eliminate that problem

i got on ebay and found some for 50 bucks. at least 100 bucks cheaper than everywhere else, and normally im a little skeptical bout them cheap things off ebay, but i figured its just a piece of metal, and its not like it has some precise or complicated function to it. all torsion keys are just a piece of metal that needs to be roughy a certain shape to hold the torsion bar in place, and the ebay ones work fine, so i doubt theres really a difference in quality.

if you just wanna level your truck turn you factory keys up and have it aligned you have to align it either way so its alot cheaper just to turn you factory ones up to get it level
