Default Tool Box Installation

Hey everyone. So I just bought a used tool box for my truck and was wondering if anyone knew the best way to mount it in the bed. Thanks for any help!

What a coincidence. I'm looking at how to mount a tool box before I got one.

Lowe's has the Better Built No Drill Truck Box Mount

Amazon has the Dee Zee mounts

The Better Built clamps look good (gonna visit Lowe's today and check them out) but one guy stated that the plastic had cracked (an Amazon review) so buyer beware.

I like the simplicity of the Dee Zee clamps and there are a few videos on Youtube that show how to install them.

My goal is to NOT drill holes in my 2011 STX. My other concern is how the box/clamp setup will work since I have the black bed rail tops installed.

I prefer to bolt mine. I have 3 bolts on both sides, the middle ones have locks on them so it is harder to steal.

im using the j-hooks provided with a new tool box I have now, but in the past I have just ran two or three self tapping screws in the bedrail.

I'm trying to avoid making any holes in the bed. The guy I bought it from said he used j-hooks when he had it on his Silverado so that's what I was leaning towards but I wanted to see what had worked for other people before I did anything.
