Last fall I removed the factory muffler that exited in front of the rear tire and replaced it with a straight pipe that exits behind the rear tire. I love the sound when cruising around or making short trips but it can be a little annoying on longer highway speed trips. I'm getting the dreaded drone and would like to soften the sound a little. Would a glass pack be a good choice?? I would still like the same throaty sound when accelerating but would like to tone down the drone!
