No experience with the falkens but the hankooks are pretty quiet...maybe just enough to be noticeable...that's on a jeep anyway...they are a good tire though. My sister has had them for 20000 miles so fat and they haven't aged a day

Actually, I like road noise, but I would rather choose the best tire for what I am willing to spend.

Yea me too that's what I love about my safari tsr's haha but between the 2 you listed im not sure. I looked into falken tires before...not the rocky mountain's but a different tire and heard they don't last s long as they should but I don't have any personal experience with them

Thanks for the info, guess I'll just have to see how much my next paycheck is. If it's decent, I'll probably go for the Hankooks if I make more than I was planning.

I got some Falken Rocky Mountain ATs, and hate them. Far too noisy on the street. They're great in all terrains, as long as those terrains don't include concrete or asphalt.

If anyone in greater Houston wants to buy them, let me know. Size 285/70-17, free delivery at any Houston Discount Tire.

Road noise, sweet. I'll probably end up with the Hankooks though, because I'd have to special order the Falkens.
