Which Tires?
I have been looking and researching and thinking about tires for the past week and I am just not sure what I want. I know I want to upsize from my stock 265/70-17s but im not sure if I wanna go as big as 305/65-17s which I can get got $252 a tire or go with a 285/70-17 for around $200 a tire. Which brings me to my next dilemma in that I don't know what is the best tire for the money. The 305s are the Falken Rocky Mountain ATS and the 285s are the Cooper Discoverer ATP. I have never owned or heard about either of these tires from anyone as far as quality. Or I can stick with my stock size and spend a little less for a more aggressive tire like the Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs and have now found The Fierce Attitudes in a 285 for around $250 each. Any help input and other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
I plan on buying either 285's or 315's from treadwright for my soon to be leveled FX4 on stock rims, the 285's on my last leveled truck looked a little small but I don't know if I wanna run 315's with stock gears. I think I decided on the guard dogs either way though.
They're gonna run around 600 shipped....really cheap and the reviews all sounds great, they come with a warranty as well. Fourwheeler magazine ran an article on them a couple years ago

That's fine if y'all wanna run treadwrights but I prefer to stick with name brand tires and not chance my luck when I travel on the interstate in Nashville everyday. Thanks for your opinions though!
It might be me but I think the good year wranglers have a weird color to them?
Ang go with bfg a/ts all day. Those are name brand and time proven. All the old timers swear by them
And last years on pavement and do excellent off road

This article mentions running treadwrights on gravel, snow, ice, and even the interstate; putting on quite a few miles. The casings are all from name brand tires and the rubber compounds they use are as good if not better than a lot of other tires out there.

Haha I was to until I read their website, I should be ordering my treadwrights within a month and ill post some pics and some feedback when I get them.
looking forward to some feedback on them. ive got BFG A/Ts and have no complaints but i wouldnt mind trying out another tire...these treadwrights are way cheaper too.
I've put about 10,000 miles on mine, I have had absolutely no issues with them, they have by far been the best tires I have ever owned. I was broke at the time and just needed something, but I have no doubt I will have these until they wear out, and then I will buy another set when they do. I am a complete believer.
