If you go that route don'y go cheap and make sure the lug nuts fit. My experience with wheel spacers ended like this:

In fairness the wrong lug nuts where used and stripped out. Just make sure you do everything right. If you have the funds I would just get the wheels with an offset you like.

For 2 seconds it was the coolest thing ever. I hit a big pot hole (my tire fell off at this time but I didn't realize it) and I figured it was the one that I hit a lot so no big deal, then I see a red toucan type bird fly by (found out that was my fender flare later) then I realized my truck was REALLY bogging down and I seen my tire go ahead of me.

I think you'd like em and not have a problem if you get good ones. I love mine and have not had one single problem with them. Just make sure to get good quality and hub centric.
