can i fit 285's on my 2000 ford f150 4x4 supercab shortbed with stock suspension

Yes you can. I'm runnin 285/75/16's, didn't even crank the torsion bars.

How do u like your dc mud country's? I was going to get them next but wasn't sure of the tread wear.

Im running 285/70/17 nitto dune graps with no rubbing. Do bottom out on the inner fender when wheeling though.

I love em! One of the best wearin mud tires I've seen. I've got a lil over 10k miles on them and I've still got around 85-90% tread left. I'll get another 30k at least. I've also kept em rotated and kept my alignment up

I'm running 285/75/17 TOYO opencountry m/ts with stock suspension. There about a 34" tall tire.
