Default Tire/lift question

Hey guys, I own a 2003 2wd screw 4.6L. Due to bad ball joints, the original tires have worn down a lot. I found this mickey thompson wheel and tire package on jcwhitney - http://http://www.jcwhitney.com/comp...19344y2003t1j2

I don't have any lift on it yet, but would like to get a 3 inch body for it. I know it says a 4 inch lift is required but I was wondering if I could maybe get away with a 3 inch body?

Here is a picture of my truck-

Since this picture was taken, I have installed running boards, 49" recon led tailgate brake light, and a kobalt bed toolbox.

I think a 3in would work fine, if not just crank the t-bars a little

listen to 2000MTZ. Worst case scenario you would have to trim a bit.
