Default Tips

I just put a thrush turbo muffler on my truck but I wanna make it alil louder or more rumble or deeper tone or something so if I put a tip on my tail pipe that's big kinda like a diesels would that work? I'm not looking to get glass pack stuff

Nope, the tip won't change the sound whatsoever...

Get a better muffler (magnaflow or flowmaster) and it'll perk up.

I figured it would give it an echo of some sort but I thought about the expensive mufflers but I bought mine for my 18th birthday cuz it was cheap

Bigger tips help the sound amplify a little bit, much like a trumpet.

Not true at all!!!! Tips do make it louder dont listen to this guy. I had my truck straight piped just the 2.5inch pipe then I added 2 3.5inch tips and it was twice as loud. The bigger and longer the tips are the more they amplify the sound!

Ok well this is what I got for exhaust system all stock all cats are still there thrush turbo muffler with a 90 degree bend pipe after that with the stock tail pipe cut and put into that 90 what kind of tip should I get? Let's try to make it cheap like $10-15 or cheaper...

I got a 44 series and ran it without a tip for a week then put a 4" tip and ran it in front of the wheel and I noticed a little but of an echo sound. It satisfied me haha so maybe add a fat tip

save your money and just get a bigger pipe diameter size man, it will drastically change the sound (louder and tone-wise). But, IMO i dont think the tips change anything, except looks! If you want to make your truck louder for cheap cut out them back cats man! It'll get MUCH louder after that!

I've thought about cutting cats off but I don't want my truck obnoxiously loud I'm moving to Phoenix next year and idk sound laws for there
