Hey guys, let me just lay out things for you: 2003 ford f-150 88,000 miles 4.6L V8 alrdy have flowmaster 44s k&n CAI. Looking into 75mm throttle body, chip and programmer. I know some info but I love learning and asking questions so will these mods give me a noticeable change in throttle response and acceleration? And also if any brands stand out for a great product over others that would be nice to know. And just wondering would I notice a change in exhaust sound after these little upgrades? ( not that it matters just curious ) to me the 4.6 really lugs around( like it's sluggish ) hopefully this is with all 4.6's and not just mine. Thanks for the help.

 

Forgot to add trucks a supercrew 2wd and sadly non limited slip differential :\ also open to any comments and recomendations even if there something I havnt discussed.

I don't know anything about throttle bodies, other then don't get a throttle body spacer. As far as a programmer, A lot of people love the edge. But you can't get them custom tuned. Your best bet would be to get a SCT tuner or a gryphon with some custom tunes for your CAI and Exhaust. Also look into some long tube headers. With the headers you'll notice a change in exhaust sound too
