Default throwin some codes

hey guys i recently hooked my truck up to my scan tool for ****s and giggles... 98 F150, 4.6L, 4wd, XL. and when i did the KOER test it came up with these codes - P1780 - Transmission Control Switch circuit is out of Self-Test Range. and this one P1703 - Brake On/Off Switch out of Self-Test Range... any ideas guys??? the only problem i know of with the brakes is my parking brake cable is gone... dont ask... and very rarely the trans wont shift into OD but when i push the od/off button on then off it ****s in od...

If you didn't press the brake pedal and cycle the overdrive switch during the koer test, you will get those codes. Redo the test. While the scan tool is going through it's functions, press the brake pedal and cycle the overdrive switch. The codes should not come back. The scan tool cannot test some things unless they are manually done.
