Default Throttle Response 02 5.4L F150

***Excuse my lack of knowledge.***

It seems as if I have to push the pedal in about 2 or so inches before I get any real response from it. Is there a way I can make it touchier (for lack of a better term)?

Thanks!

Yes there is. If you lay on your back in your floor board and pull the pedal up toward the driver seat you will see a small wire at the top of the pedal assembly. Take some zip ties and put them on the exposed piece of wire so it can't pull back though. Most people on here call it the zip tie mod. If you search that there is probably a how to on here somewhere.

I did that on my mustang and got stuck down there and by the time I squirmed out my face was super red and I had a killer headache. Worth it for the increased throttle response though lmfao.

Google 'gotts mod' - allows more air to flow into the engine, not gonna be as noticeable as the zip tie mod but should still help a bit. Cleaning the MAFsensor and throttle body could help too, but just barely
