Default ignition/steering shaft

So I am running into two problems recently and can't find a solution to either.

Anyone know where I can find a steering shaft extension and maybe some new metal shims.

Second issue is way more perplexing. After I take the key out of the ignition the truck still thinks it is on. I don't mean it stays running but i just mean all the electronics stay on.

With the doors closed or open? Does the fan continue to run? You shouldn't need a steering shafts extension. The steering box has not moved in position from the steering wheel. Unless you mean a drop pitman arm. But I think you are going to spend a lot of unnecessary money and still have bad ride quality unless you lose the lift spacers and go with a spindle lift up front.

yeah and the stock steering shaft is to small. I mean it works but their is alot of wiggle because it is not connected as far down as it should because it stretched.

As far as the noise. When I take the key out the ignition still thinks a key is in so I can run all my electronics without the key in I just can not start it without the key or keep it running.

I emailed performance accessories about a steering extension, because they include them in there body lift kits, to see if they sell them separately. I'll let you know what I hear back.
