Default Throttle body

Hey guys I noticed the 4.6 and 5.4 v8 both use a 75mm throttle body.. Since I have a 5.4 could I kick it up to an 80mm? And will it do anything? I was also wondering if there is such thing as a dual throttle body for an 02 f150 5.4l v8?

I'm trying to get an increase in power and if I can get more air from a larger TB it should produce more power. I was also wondering what a hollowed out TB would do or is that a bad idea?

Air doesnt mean more power. 75mm is enough to supply close to 400rwhp in most vehicles. You dont have the mods to support a larger TB. If you had longtubes, and a larger MAF with a decent program you might benefit from a larger TB. But right now your best bet is a programmer.

You would have no problem putting on a larger TB, and you would probably notice a little better throttle response, but there will be no power gains
