I guess that's what it's called. Anyways, I was pulling out of walmart yesterday and it just like broke on me. Like when I'm in reverse it says i'm in neutral. I do have a body lift on my truck, I heard that could cause it, but how do I fix it?

Under your dash on the steering column there is a white beset with like a red string I can take a pic later but sometimes the white bracket breaks and cause it if it's not broke u can turn the little black wheel till it lines back up

 

Somewhere, either on YouTube or a forum, I watched a video of a guy doing a
fix on a Ford column gear shifter.

 

Go to YouTube and search; ford shift indicator repair. I just found it.

 

Lay in your driverside floor board an look for the white thing I am pointing at its prolly broke on ur truck. but that adjuster is to move the needle on you gauge cluster
