Pretty close to the Lenovo I was looking at a little while back, except it was about 2G cheaper.

Says right on the Nimo site that the parts they use are made in the same factory as the MacBooks and iWatch, or whatever its called. Apple Watch?

HP and Lenovo's were through the roof now that RAM has taken off... even DDR4 is expensive now.

A month maybe month and a half ago, the Lenove was 2800 being conservative, I bet they've went up even more since.

I just put a $3300 HP Z Book with an i7 Pro into service. Unreal! I really feel like my laptop runs better. The Ryzen 9 is a nice CPU.

That's great! Saying alot considering the cost dif.

So it's proven to be a great purchase then.

Also Those cpu's are suppose to be competitive. Well the Ryzen may have the edge......all around anyway...

From what I've read.

I 'd be happy w/either one I expect..

I will say this, it runs so much cooler than an i7. I've used so many i7's over the years, and they all run warm. This Ryzen barely breaks a sweat under load (video rendering).

LOL... DeWalt snow shoes, eh?

I'm in the market for a new laptop.
The fan started making death sounds, had the whole laptop vibrating!
I took it apert and cleaned it and it seemed to fix it, but if I hit the keyboard to hard it starts up again.
it has been running hot for a while; there was a bunch of dust and dog hair in it.
I have a new fan assy. coming, but thinking of getting a new laptop and retiring this one to the garage.
