Yep....
The Vette didn't like pulling in and out of the garage on full choke all winter.
Changing the plugs and they are BLACK !

I started on the easy/drivers' side, got the chrome polished too.

The passenger side is a pain, I pulled the A/C compressor and lines to make it easier.

My uncle had it converted to 134a and they put dye in.
It was empty and the whole system is trashed.

Got the pan off and it was clean inside.
Going to pull #1 rod cap, #1 main cap they are the last to get oil.
And #4 it takes all the flex in the crank and wears sooner.
I was going to do that last night but didn't feel like laying on the ground.

Been putting it off because I am worried I am not gonna be happy.

I understand that one! If I can't see it... it must be fine. Lol

The other day when I put brake hoses, pads, and rotors on my Mom's Escape, I couldn't get my scan tool to enter the ABS bleed procedure - the error 22 said it wad a communication error when I googled it. And the brakes feel dang good, so I took it back to them last night. I decided to put it on my Escape tonight and see if it was possibly the scanner with the issue. Same damn error message. So I started fiddling around... and I kicked on the ABS pump for a cycle. Then it immediately allowed me to enter the ABS bleed procedure. I did it in the same sequence twice just to confirm.

I should have just got Forscan out. Oh well. I gotta go over and put a recliner togther for them tomorrow, so I'll take the XTool with me.

Just gotta vent, tech support at SCT is worse than anything i have experienced so far. I went to tune my truck after removing it for a few weeks while i did maintenance, and it failed to upload, got an error. Opened a ticket with SCT and put a thread on their forum. My thread was deleted, and tech support doesn't read what you put in, they just ask the questions they already have answers to, im going in circles. Now i know the 87 canned tune for a 97 doesn't do much, but it does make it a bit more fun to drive, so i enjoy the drivability. Error i get is 110BE, which means the tuner cant unlock the ecu. They gave me a bunch of steps, Fuses, charge the battery, do a battery reset, clear codes, do the macarena, and so far nothing has worked. My last comment to them was, the truck was returned to stock in June with no problems after i was asked if i can return it to stock (i mentioned several times it was) and he goes "And what happens when programming it to the vehicle?".........If i said 15 times that my truck was returned to stock fine then it was fine. Is it me? is it my NY attitude bubbling up cause this guy can't understand written language and getting nowhere? They have you fill out a form before you put in a ticket, the first comment from Tech Support is asking for ALL OF THAT INFO AGAIN. Im wishing i went with Diablo, now i have an expensive code reader and paperweight until they figure it out. End Rant

That sucks..
Hope they get it figured out for ya.

I am headed to the Sheriff's department to drop off 12 loaded backpacks for their Back-to-school backpack drive.
Then the grocery store to pick up an order on the way home.
Then back home to hide in the A/C.
Hot, hot, hot, one today.
93° and feels like 96° and climbing.

If you could lol.

Brakleen is much more user friendly... out in the field anyway. Just don't want to over do it, the finger nails can fall off

If that occurs, just follow up with Windex, that stuff has healing properties. Off course you would already know this if your Greek.
