LOL @Jbrew !
Had a busy few days here. We have a "supper club" group in which we rotate hosting a dinner each month, and last evening, it was at my house for an "Old-Fashioned 4th 5th of July Cookout." Hosts provide the "main course," and everyone brings something to go aling with the theme. There were burgers, hot dogs, brats, mac & cheese, potato salad, corn on the cob, home-made ice cream, and (a lot) more. Had to prep for a dozen or so, but did take time to go to the "Symphony Above the Clouds" in Woodland Park Friday night. Great fireworks!

I got the Raptor shot today. It's not perfect, but it looks just the way I wanted - fine grain, matte finish.

I am beat. Three days straight up and down a ladder all day.

My neighbor is a photographer... I asked him to do family photos for us (for my Mom's birthday). He agreed, and I asked him how much when I saw him earlier today. He said "we'll work something out". He texted me tonight and asked if I'd change his transmission fluid in exchange.

Done!

I hope y'all had a great 4th! Business as usual here. Pretty much any good fireworks are banned here in Oregon, but there were a few non-regulation booms happening...

It was actually pretty quiet around here tonight.
Everybody must have got their parties done Friday and Saturday.

Damn... mine likes the number 14... it doesn't deviate from that by much.

BTW, my friends... Amazon currently has the gallon jugs of Valvoline MaxLife ATF for $22.98, which is roughly 5 dollars cheaper than Walmart's everyday price.

EDIT: I stand corrected. WM also dropped their price, but it is still cheaper on Amazon.
