Speed limit is 25 through town here. I was doin 28/29. Chevy truck w/some kind of chair in the bed passed me flooring it in the left turn lane. Police car was sitting in the library parking lot watching traffic. I mean, couldn't have timed that any better if you tried. Busted!

Justice... served!

So, I just wanted to clear something up on the starter upgrade. The starters with the "external" bolts/screws are considered the Denso design. If you can not see the screws, that is the Ford design. Looks like I'm going to need to make a little cable if I didn't already. The Denso does not come with this.

Reference to that short wire. They do that because the ear w/10mm stainless nut is very week. You can easily break that entire thing off of there if you're not careful. Before they did that , folks were returning new starters back to the store. The short wire also came with a set of instructions for folks that were not aware.

The older Bosch I use to double nut and use two 10mm ig wrenches to minimize torque pressure. That was after finding out the hard way how easy those bust right off. .. Yep, the hard way first.

Interesting factoid, Brew! I always figured there were corrosion issues at some point, and this was the reasoning.
