Thinking v2
It looks like my battery wont hold enough of a charge anymore to start the truck. Had a hell of a time trying to jump it too. I have my battery tender on it right now, but thinking new battery time. Its from 1/23 and an everstart from wally world. oddly enough the jumper that i have kept telling me the connection was backwards when it wasnt. Think there is a link between that and me installing the fan almost two weeks ago?
It shouldn't be new battery time, Should go at least 3 years imo. That is totally why I quit Johnson control batteries well over a decade ago. They cornered the cheap bat market back the, Neighbor worked for them, still does. They are great to work for, but some of their products..... Not terrible, but also not the greatest. Which was a perfect fit for them. Got a pic of the eng comp with the last cheap JC bat purchased. I believe that was a neverstart as well lol -
I believe folks still like those Interstate bats if you end up needing to grab one quickly. Pulled a Motorcraft from the SD last month. That was dated 2019, it went 5-6 years. It went dead a couple times on me, gave it to the kid with the old 98. Looks like they are pricey to. Get what you pay for. More-so with the first Odyssey.

97/98 130 amps were actually 160 amps. Not one ever test below that..the originals anyway. They ran dry sometime in 99, the redesigned was then true 130 and 90 amp max units. This was before Ford Fuel Injection in conjunction w/RJM shut down many moons ago, - they re built those alts. (Just FFI shut down btw) Regardless, they doc'ed it online. Hit 160 every time. It was cool and up front site.

Since I can no longer find OEM Motorcraft parts for my 2001 Super CREW. Which brand of brake booster and master cylinder do you think is the closest in quality? I'd rather one and done with Motorcraft but most parts are unattanium.
Thank You in advance. I replaced my front brake lines with OEM old stock with dorman banjo bolts, bled the entire system and now the brake pedal goes to the floor. I did notice a small stain of brake fluid where the master cylinder bolts to the brake booster.
I figure at twenty four plus years I might as well replace both while I'm at it. To be fair the pedal hasn't been strong in a few years now.
