There is someone selling a brand new starter on FBMP. It says it's for a 99-04 F150 via the PN when I look it up on RA.

What in hells name changed on the starter after 98? I'd love to go grab it for a spare.

Just the solenoid wire w/heatshrink add on. Bosch added that so the stud wouldn't snap off during the install. That's the only thing that changed I know of. That's more of a update though.

I need a nap. (Or a bunch of caffeine.)

I semi-nuked my network yesterday trying to set up my router with the Starlink stuff. In the midst of doing it, I lost connectivity to a bunch of devices (but not others, which was driving me a bit batty), and I thought I might have to reset and reconfigure every OIT device in the house. Fortunately, my "reset" of the router was only partial, and I was able to get things going a bit after midnight.

Now I need to find a new switch. My 10/100 one is getting maxed out and is now the system bottleneck. eBay, here I come.

Thanks, Brew. Yeah, that's on the list, though it will probably end up being pretty much whatever I can get cheap. I don't need the latest and greatest in high performance, and I'll keep the one that I have as a backup.

I assume you want unmanaged? I have this 8 port:

https://amzn.to/3RoKZbA

And also this 5 port with POE:

https://amzn.to/3VGdap8

I use POE for my AP's.

Still have that one in the box on standby...or it's like, it's new anyway.

Using my recently refurbished netgear switch currently. The one the power surge took out.

That 8-port would be perfect if it had one more hole.

I don't need GB ports for everything. Could I hook my router up to the GB switch and those devices that need the high speed (PC, laptop, NAS, etc. ) and plug in a 10/100 switch to that one for printers, etc.? I know I'd have to be Careful about Loops, but I don't see that happening.
