8 brand new DG508 coils just arrived today, via USPS from the east coast. $200 for the set (25 each). I figure I saved over $125 from Rock Auto, so why the heck not. Damn I wish it would warm up and get to be spring at least. Summer would be much better. I've got things to do......lol

Damn the luck, eh? I'm sorry about sending this bad weather your way. You ought to see what we are sending the west coast right now. Then right behind it a a super cold coldfront. It's going to be nasty they say. It's -30 in Barrow this morning. Hopefully it will dissipate as it comes across Canada and down to the US. Don't get wind chill bite (frostbite by wind). lol.

We are supposed to get another foot on Saturday. About tired of this snow....luckily it's melting pretty quick. We got 12 inches and then another 10 already in the past 7 days. I've been battling a cold, so all of my days are all jumbled up lately, LOL. It's made for an interesting time figuring out computer issues at work.... I hate being in the clouds from cold medicine.

I got my drums yesterday..... and UPS delivered somebody elses package to my house. I opened it, not knowing it wasn't mine. First I tried the intended recipient several times from the phone number on the package..... no answer, no voicemail setup either. Sp I called UPS, and told them.... and asked them if I could drop it off at the UPS store, and they said that would be fine. Took it over to the UPS store, and they didn't want it.... so I told them I'm not taking it with me, and they better send it to the Salt Lake hub. Damn girl didn't want to take it so I said "look, I've put enough time into your mistake.... if I take this out of here, it's mine - I'm trying to do the right thing here, and you don't want to help me with your mistake". She finally took it after a good 10 minutes of trying to get here to take it.

Anyway..... I stopped at the dealer on the way home to get some friction modifier. Boy, was I surprised at it being cheaper at the dealer than on Amazon. So I got 2, lol.

Hey guys, there is a member that started the thread

Should I replace 1-2 and 2-3 accumulator with spring?

I think he genuinely needs some help and I don't know enough to positively tell him what he want to know. Y'all know a lot more than I do so I thought I would see if y'all could help.

Welp just had the most expensive repair on the escape to date.... $80 to weld in a new flex pipe. It was completely rusted thru on the sleeve. It had been kinda loud lately just thought I had a slight leak somewhere and then last weekend all of a sudden it was WAY loud. Jerry rigged it as we had a trip to NOLA planned, it held till we got back Friday night and then today had it fixed. Boy did I forget how quiet this vehicle used to be lol. Now the exhaust fumes and obnoxious noise are gone.

Hope that's the worst thing I have to do for another 100,000 miles. Currently sitting at 216,000. Getting the oil changed this week as the LA trip pushed me about 1000 past.

I was looking at the flex piece on mine the other day thinking it still looked pretty good.... maybe I oughta inspect it a little better, LOL. When I had back surgery, my Dad took my Escape to get it inspected for me. It failed because a gasket just before the muffler had started leaking. My Dad paid someone about 120 bucks to fix it.... tried to pay him back, but he'd have none of that. Although, 120 bucks to put in a 5 dollar gasket is a bit steep.

I know. I know what you did. You replaced the water pump. You might of gone a bit deep, but, hey, you got to it. LOL.

Did you use the crank alignment tool on the 3V, or did you just set it at about 11 and go from there? I maybe can see it being necessary with VCT's, but with a solid gear? I'm thinking it's not so necessary. How did you go about your reset.
