Used my last upgrade to get this, so full price this time.
Less that $800 if possible.
Android.
Great camera.
Previous ph, DooGee S96Pro. This is a V31GT, their flagship. 500+ from them, fulfilled by Amazon. 700 direct from Amazon.
IP68... IP69k... MIL-STD-810H
(Like the S96PRO Pro)
It's not perfect but it's rugged. You can do underwater videos. Drop it in the toilet? Spray it off.
But the HI-Res FLIR got me for night work, finding a black cat, troubleshooting, taking forehead temps.
Aside from being rugged, the battery. The 96 had 6300ma. This has 2 batteries for 10500ma. Just out this Sept. Go ALL day and have 50-80% left. Can recharge a different pH from it. Sales now. Was Spanish, now Chinese. A tad heavy, half is metal for ruggedness, the other half is batteries, lol. 6ft drop. Gorilla glass. Explosion resistant plastic face cover if needed. The 31 comes w a 66WHr chgr, 80% chgd in an hr. Or 20(15?) watt wireless changing, (not supplied.) Guy the other day at the shop said, I've never seen such a thick case. The case... Should arrive any day now... Haha. Yes, it's a weapon. Suma the rest is not up to Samsung standards, but the operation does not diverge from Samsung greatly like Motorola etc. Not too hard to learn to use. It fits my cup of tea, and keeps on ticking. Hotspot too, maybe? Oh - sim and TF cards, or dual sim. I'ma broke vet. Bought 2, one for son. Both on Affirm time payments. Mine 6 mo. His, 4 pymts 2 wks apart. Rugged. Actually waterproof. BIG batteries. And FLIR that is also high res. Out to 1000 yds. Did I say, rugged? Fits me like a first baseman's mitt. Does it all. Be's all I can be. Cannot remove the battery(ies,) to go dark. Need a mu-bag for that. Good at the beach, or to fix sum sunofabeach.
Previously, I was a fan of the mini-samsungs.

If they don't, take them to court. There, were two, right?

Well, he's been burned by stuff like that before. For a seal, or any other "little" thing, the customer will expect you to inherit any other issues going further. It's just how customers work - at least around here.

I've turned down a couple of things today already. Swapping out the tail shaft from a 2WD E4OD to a 4X4 E4OD. Why? That trans has to come apart. We could get blamed for anything at that point. "It shifted fine when I brought it to you".

We just stay away from that type of work unless we can insure it's done right.

.........
I'd never heard of the brand DooGee before this. Sounds like a decent niche-market device.

I've had Motorola devices dating back to the Moto Droid X. My current Edge + 5G is a solid performer as well. My only real beef with Lenovorola (and other mainstream manufactures like Samsung) is the deletion of the Micro-SD slots. If/when the phone goes TU, SD data is not lost.

I was pretty pissed my S22 had no slot. Load of horses4it IMO. Stay out of Apple's lane, Samsung.

Iphone made miss something for the last time. I swapped a couple days ago.
I've got one of my kids old Motorola Power phones that is a couple years old and somehow it hasn't missed telling me I've got to be on a conf call in five minutes yet.
Been missing calendar reminders and stuff for weeks, maybe months.
Android is much different than the last time I used it and is much better and easier to use.

I don't like the hugeness of the doggy phone but I do like the Flir camera and the apparent toughness.

Oddly, you could say my 2yo S96Pro should be alive, yet. Over 24 hrs, it stopped reliably taking a Chg. Then overnight the 15% battery I was saving to pwr data transfer to a new oh or the membership card, drained away, w the ph OFF, overnight. (The general lithium ph battery is suggested to last 3 years +/-, I now read, ruggedness aside.) I got maybe 20% onto the S96PRO mem card before the ph died, almost 128G full of precious pics, etc. The V31GT is a 256G device. (As a past comsec guy and as general privacy nut, I dislike clouds.)

Yeah, it's nichey, like, under and around an F150, in a creek hitching a tow to a non-F150. (Caution; It will not float. &#128518 The 31 seems a brighter screen than the 96 - important for "hiking" & outdoor fun, or shopping w the other half, garage sales... Lotsa nits... (the brightness quotient.) Bright screens eat juice, too, outdoors, & big batteries help. I'm careful w stuff, but I'm a guy. I can't stop every 15 min to put my ph somewhere safe. I haven't used a man-purse much (tasche? Yeah, Männerhandtasche)
since Germany. It goes where I go. Still, a clear case & extra screen protector should be here any day. Two is one. One is none. DBL armor. Saves the paint - 😉.

As said, I used to prefer the extra small Samsungs, like S3 mini. iPh used to swear to stay small, w first retina screens, but they bowed. But my older eyes decided to follow an older vet pal who got a 6"+ ph. Small eggs etc break less than larger things. Small is not bad. And now w no military/geeky real-qwerty keypad, you lose screen to that. I'm not ham fisted, but since "changing demographics" has shrunken the average size of the "average man's hand," I no longer wear a Large mechanics gloves, I need XL to be comfy. A bigger kybd fits my thumbs better. This is an old 45 to someone's 9 mil w target loads. You KNOW it hasn't been lifted from your back pocket, or forgotten. No DBL checking. DooGee has a few tough models. FLIR drew me. And the 96 barely had a big enough (twice most phones) battery, if you use bright screen at an all day BBQ. Oops... Did I mention, strong Dual Speakers and mics? It will talk to you. This is my dog. It won't sit up or beg. It's techy-tough good looking. And it's at least, 4x4, Ford Tough. Hit me - but not with this or an S96. Oh - night vision Vastly improved over the 96. My seeing eye, WILL mess you up, dog. Good boy. C'mere... <Come and get me, sucka.> (Ford, try to keep up.) Wish a 7700 would drop into my lap, but my '01 is 3/4 new. Ok... Sit! <Sit, he-DBL-L! YOU get up! Let's GO!> Okaaayy. My phone, calls.

The S96 came w a wrist lanyard to avoid injury reading in bed. The 31 does not. So you just gotta ask yerself, YOU feelin' lucky today? Well, ARE ya? 🤣
