So a few weeks ago I got rear ended in my Fiesta ST. It's in the shop now and they told me it would be 3 weeks as long as they don't find anything unexpected. They gave me a Nissan Versa to.. uh.. yawn..drive. Now my ST is no Mustang, but it'll hit 60 in the low 6's- high 5's depending on temperature and how much I drank the night before, with upgraded inter-cooler, intake, tune etc. It also handles like no hatchback should with Mountune and Koni suspension set up. The car is braver than I am and I swear there is something hiding in the dash whispering "go faster, we can take it. Make that on-ramp your b!tch)

Now this Versa supposedly does 0-60 in 9.7 but DAMN it feels slow. I've only had it 4 days and I'm dying of boredom. It is more of a transportation appliance than car that anyone should DRIVE.

I have dreamed of having a fox body since I was a kid and now when I come here, the need is getting stronger. I saw project on LMR yesterday where they dropped a Godzilla in a Fox, OMG! I feel the need, the need for speed! I want to take an 80's Capri with the wider fenders and put early 90's GT body parts on it and that Godzilla with a 6 speed. There is a '84ish clapped out, yellow Capri running around town with either a 2.3 or 200 in it that needs to be transplanted, modded and driven hard by me. It just taunts me about once a month by driving by all crappy-like. It's not fair to me or the car, we both deserve better.

OK, Sorry about rattling off my random thoughts with no real point. Just board waiting for that damn clock to get to 5pm already and it is taking it's time... like the Versa.

My mistake. It was somewhere around then. I remember Payton vs Stockton and Kemp vs Malone. Good years to be a Sonics fan.

Meant tongue in cheek, so to say. Dangerous to the pocket book along with many other things! And yes I'm as guilty of "thinking" and doing also. My satirical sense of humor. Ignore, laugh, agree, what have you, I apologize if my old geezer sense of humor did not show. KM

A guy in the Fox Body group I'm in (he actually lives 5 minutes from me) is almost done putting a wide body kit on his convertible. His rear wheels are 18 X 13", and the fronts are 18 X 10.5". It's going to be sweet when he's all done.

I really want a coupe... I think I'll be looking for one next summer. Actually... I have my eye on one right now, if I can get the guy to sell. I need to walk up to his house with cash in hand.

That was a good time to be a Jazz fan too. It's not been so hot for a while though. Danny Ainge is really starting to load up on picks, so we should be able to build a lot in the upcoming drafts. We essentially got 5 1st round picks for Gobert. Ainge got the guy he would have drafted in the trade, plus 5 more picks. If we unload Mitchell (Mr. Absentee in the 4th quarter) then we ought to get some more picks.

If I need to sand my clearcoat where some stickers were removed,is 2500 fine enough to buff from or should I go finer?
How fine should I go so it is easy to buff. Too many contradictory youtube videos.
