Default Testing blower motor

(Vehicle is a 97 F150 5 speed)

I am trying to fix my heat/AC problem. The problem is the blower motor does not turn on. Before I rip it out and swap the blower motor for another, I wanted to test if i was getting power to to the motor. Since the previous owner said he thought it was the switch.

I tested this cable right here with the key to the ON position and got no reading. Does this mean that my switch is bad?

If your not getting fire there, it could be the blower motor resistor. Se if your getting fire to it next. Did you check the fuses?

Follow the wires from the blower motor. They will go to it. It will be screwed into the heater box. It gets a signal from the dash switch and regulates the speeds to the blower motor.

Are you referring to the blower motor resistor? If so, I already replaced it.

So I dropped the glove box, and removed the radio and surrounding parts. I still can't find the relay. Where is this thing? I was told it was behind the radio area up in the dash... ?

I will definitely check those areas listed on that site. I'm not sure if my 97 will have the same location as those 2000+, but its worth a shot.

If you find it in the all data, that would be great. Thanks.
