Default Tailgate Question

Someone by me has 2 tailgates for sale a 1999 and a 2001 tailgates from a superduty will they fit a 2001 Ford F150 xlt ext cab

Yes.

99-07 SD, 97-03 F150 and F250 light duty all fit.

No they won't. The only say superdutt in 2008+. Those will probably just have f250 emblems same tailgate though.

Oh my bad I thought from like 04 up they said super duty.

I'm pretty sure even current model super duty tailgates fit. Some have used them for a factory back-up cam.

When I get the money, I want to put a SD tailgate from an 08 on mine. I wouldnt mind having that step...

The step would be nice on a lifted truck. I just want a back-up camera that blends good. It would be great for hooking up trailers.
