Default Tach lead/wire

I have a 2000 F150, V6, with a stick. There's no tach in my truck and i'm wondering if there's a wire that I can tap into for the signal (green) wire on an aftermarket tach. Is there already one in the back of the insterment cluster that would have been used if my truck had a tach, or if I can tap into one at the coil pack.
Thanks for any info you can share!

Cool! Thanx for the link. Now all I gotta do is figure out which pin is #48, and I'll be all set. I think I'll take a look next weekend.
