intake silencer???

so i have done the gotts mod on my truck and i want to do the silencer but i want to know if it will really make a noticable difference before i go to the effort to do it, help please!

i did it 2 weeks ago, all i noticed is you can hear more air going through the intake and i think it made my exhaust deeper

i did on the weekend it made some difference not as much as the gotts mod. ps that flex hose is hard to get off.
