Default Switches on A pillar

Anyone mount their switches on the A pillar? Got any pics?

I am going to need around 4-6 switches before I am "done" so I am going to go ahead and get them and put them in, and then hook to them as I need them. I dont really like anywhere else on the dash to put a big group.

Dissapointed there are no single guage pod a pillars out there. Or at least I can find. I was going to get a single and have them go up it. But it looks like I will just do some epoxy work on the existing one. Because of the mounts in the pillar there is no room to put a switch in the handle holes.

By the way got a bunch of these. Should look pretty cool with the old wood grain. Thought I would share the link.

They do make single pods. I ordered a single pillar pod from Jegs and fiberglassed it on the pillar to make it look factory

I took my A-pillar off this past weekend to route power lines and antenna cable in there. Since it is a "bent" piece of plastic, full sized toggle switches probably won't fit back there, but "micro" switches should clear (the mounting tabs should give you a hint of what will clear). So, those rubber boots will be too big for micro switches. I've seen postings of 2000MTZ's single pod. Looked like it came directly from Ford!

I meant with the pod already on the whole a pillar. If I have to glass I will just cover up the holes.

Yeah they might not fit in the back, might have to do some wiggling.
